Hello HN! I wanted a course platform where the teaching adapts instead of being a video someone recorded in 2019, so I built one. It runs on your machine where you can clone it, add an OpenRouter key, open localhost. No login, no accounts, SQLite locally. It starts empty. You say what you want to learn, and it goes out and pulls publicly available material on the topic, then builds the roadmap and the course from that. So the content is current as of when you generate it rather than whenever someone last re-recorded a lecture. Coursera put $100M into Andrew Ng's LearnVector for something in this neighborhood, first courses due next year. Not much I can do about that. What I can do is give away the whole system :)
