Between calls, it works in Slack for pre-meeting briefs, prospect research, and cross-meeting memory.
Does Heyalo work during the call, or after it?
Both. During the call, Heyalo surfaces timed signals and answers questions you ask, in a private panel only you can see. After you hang up, it writes the recap, deal signals, and a follow-up draft. The live panel is deliberately quiet: it speaks when something matters, not on every sentence.
Does a bot join the call?
No bot ever joins. Heyalo listens through your browser, not as a meeting guest, so nothing shows up in the participant list and the cue panel stays on your screen alone. You keep running the conversation; Heyalo just makes sure the right answer is in front of you when you need it.
Is my data stored or used to train AI?
Heyalo captures audio only while a session is running. Transcripts are processed on Heyalo's servers and kept in your private workspace so you can search past calls; you control retention, and deleting your account purges everything. Your data is never sold and never used to train public AI models. We are ISO 27001 certified, and data handling follows GDPR.
Do I need to tell the other participants?
That is your call to make, and in many places your legal obligation. Recording and transcription laws vary by country and region, so disclose exactly as you would for any call recording. "No bot" is a user-experience choice, not a way around telling people: Heyalo keeps the meeting clean of AI guests, and you keep the disclosure norms you already follow.
