🪙 Coinbase Makes Agentic Trading Real With MCP: Coinbase debuted an MCP-based tool that lets AI agents trade, pay for premium research, and buy on-demand compute using the x402 payment protocol. Initially for crypto, the firm plans to expand to stocks and prediction markets. A unified platform where Claude and ChatGPT (or any agent) sounds convenient. Just make sure your agent doesn’t FOMO trade on your account. TechCrunch

🏭 SemiAnalysis Shows AI Subscription Economics Are Wildly Mispriced: SemiAnalysis stress-tested Anthropic and OpenAI subscription plans and found that heavy users get out thousands of dollars more than they pay from token costs for max subs, with ChatGPT Pro/Codex showing especially large arbitrage. Subscription pricing is still subsidizing high-intensity workflows that would be far more expensive at raw API rates. This arb, too, will close over time. SemiAnalysis on X
