The influence of AI is rapidly unfolding for enterprises, and those that do not adopt AI will become irrelevant. To remain competitive, enterprises not only need upskilled technical practitioners to build compelling data and AI products but also empowered line-of-business users to actually use them. Databricks Academy Pro is a new all-in-one subscription that unlocks ongoing enablement for each user in their preferred learning style. The offering provides users with learning access across live, instructor-led or self-paced training, access to labs for hands-on learning and industry-recognized certifications.
Why the way teams upskill has to change
This urgency is already showing up in practice and many enterprises are discovering that skills, not strategy, are the biggest barrier to AI adoption. Deloitte's 2026 State of AI in the Enterprise report finds that insufficient worker skills are now the biggest barrier to integrating AI into how work actually gets done. Hiring alone won't close that gap; there aren't enough experienced practitioners in the market to staff every team that needs them. The path forward is upskilling the people you already have.
